We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join an established and growing Facilities Management and Building Services business.
You’ll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and fault finding across a varied portfolio of commercial sites. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a stable role with a strong benefits package, company vehicle and opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
The Role
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.
- Service and maintain commercial air conditioning equipment.
- Complete minor installation, replacement and remedial works.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding.
- Complete service reports and job records using digital systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas and Health & Safety requirements.
- Identify additional remedial works where appropriate.
- Provide a professional service to customers and clients.
- Manage your own workload and work independently across customer sites.
About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer, AC Engineer or HVAC Engineer.
- Strong experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.
- Confident carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Good knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- City & Guilds Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- Commercial refrigeration experience.
- IPAF / PASMA.
- CSCS / relevant industry card.
- 18th Edition.
