A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is required to support building maintenance across multiple sites in the Merseyside area. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Police vetting will be required due to contract security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete reports
- Respond to reactive and emergency breakdowns
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
- Support other team members as needed
- Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timescales
- Help reduce energy usage on sites
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and safety compliance
- Work flexibly across multiple properties
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures
- Perform additional duties within capability
Requirements
- Full commercial gas qualifications
- Experience in commercial gas maintenance and service
- Experience in mobile service delivery
- Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and service standards
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Proactive with strong fault-finding abilities
- Accurate and timely paperwork skills
- Full UK driving licence
