- We're working with a leading global facilities management provider to recruit a
Maintenance Electrician for a prestigious, high-security industrial site in Cheshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team, working within a technically challenging environment where safety, compliance and high standards are paramount.
The Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical systems, ensuring critical building services remain fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial building services.
- Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and associated remedial works.
- Undertake electrical testing, inspection and certification.
- Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Support small electrical installation projects and upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Complete all maintenance records and compliance documentation accurately.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors and the client to ensure high levels of service delivery.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with previous experience working within commercial or industrial environments.
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Experience carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault finding.
- Strong understanding of electrical compliance and safe systems of work.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
