We’re looking for a skilled Mobile BMS Engineer to join our innovative and rapidly growing digital engineering team, working across Cambridgeshire. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on cutting‑edge smart building technologies across a diverse range of sectors – including commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and government.

As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you'll help deliver BMS (Building Management System) infrastructure upgrades that not only boost building performance but also lay the foundation for IoT and smart‑enabled environments. You'll work on projects ranging from £10k to £1.5m+, combining hands‑on engineering with real strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain BMS hardware and software (controllers, sensors, actuators, etc.).
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on Trend, Tridium (Niagara), and Distech systems.
  • Take part in the reactive call‑out rota (with paid incentives).
  • Offer technical guidance and performance insights to clients.
  • Identify and recommend system improvements or upgrade opportunities.
  • Prepare technical proposals and quotations for enhancements or new BMS solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience with BMS and HVAC systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Trend, Tridium, Distech, or Siemens systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical schematics and control panel diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with IT networks and AutoCAD.
