Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – Cambridge Region

Full Time | £45,000–£50,000 DOE + Van & Fuel Card + Benefits

Due to growth in local contracts, we are recruiting a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across commercial sites in the Cambridge area, including schools and commercial buildings. You will be responsible for statutory gas maintenance, fault finding, and mechanical works on commercial gas plant and associated systems. This is a mobile role, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with overtime available and participation in an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
  • Mechanical maintenance on associated plant (boilers, pressurisation units, water heaters, pressure vessels, booster sets)
  • Fault finding and repair to meet statutory and client requirements
  • Providing a professional, customer-focused service

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance
  • Current ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A)
  • Gas Safe registered
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
