Refrigeration Engineer (Install Bias)

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer with an installation bias to join our expanding team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in commercial refrigeration who is looking for a long-term role offering great earning potential, career development, and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across retail and hospitality sites.
- Diagnose and repair faults on display cabinets, cold rooms, and pack systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
- Complete electronic job reports accurately.
- Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 6).
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- F-Gas Category 1 certification.
- Experience working on commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Good knowledge of remote packs and control systems such as Danfoss and Carel.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Able to work independently with a professional, customer-focused approach.

- Salary up to £45,000
- Attendance bonus of up to £1,200 per year
