The Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric maintenance across the site. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard.
Typical duties include:
- General building fabric repairs
- Carpentry and joinery
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Patch plastering and making good
- Door, lock and ironmongery repairs
- Ceiling and flooring repairs
- Supporting small refurbishment and project works
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician, Maintenance Operative, Building Maintenance Technician or similar
- A strong all-round building maintenance background
- Experience working within commercial buildings or Facilities Management
- Good knowledge of carpentry, basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance
- A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
