We are currently seeking a Water Hygiene Technician / Maintenance Plumber to join our maintenance team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional new minor installation works. You’ll play a key part in helping us maintain a hassle-free and compliant environment across multiple sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Carrying out monitoring and maintenance of building water services in line with Legionella Control regulations (ACoP L8 and HSG 274)
- Performing temperature testing, TMV inspections, cold and hot water storage inspections, water sampling, showerhead disinfections, risk assessment reviews, and logbook audits
- Completing plumbing repairs, alterations, and installation works on domestic hot and cold water systems
- Travelling between multiple sites as part of your daily duties
- Using a PDA and web-based logbook system for inspections and record keeping
- Supporting other water hygiene tasks, including monitoring, maintenance, and remediation works

- Strong knowledge of heating and water systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to travel across multiple sites
- Experience in a similar role and familiarity with relevant regulations is desirable
