The Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our national team of 5 engineers, delivering planned and preventative maintenance across a variety of sites including schools, service stations, and campsite environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):
- Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
- Fire alarm checks and basic maintenance
- HVAC filter cleaning and general building services support
- Carry out routine compliance checks ensuring systems meet industry standards
- Electrical Maintenance & Installations:
- LED lighting upgrades and replacements
- Maintenance and installation of sockets, switches, and general electrical components
- Fault finding and repair works
- Carry out both single phase and three phase electrical works
- Minor installation works where required
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
- Follow company and client service level agreements
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Skills & Experience:
- Strong electrical maintenance and PPM experience
- Experience working with commercial or public sector environments desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Flexible and willing to travel nationally
