Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 (Flexible start and finish times)

National travel with staying away sometimes is required.

The Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our national team of 5 engineers, delivering planned and preventative maintenance across a variety of sites including schools, service stations, and campsite environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM):
    • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
    • Fire alarm checks and basic maintenance
    • HVAC filter cleaning and general building services support
    • Carry out routine compliance checks ensuring systems meet industry standards
  • Electrical Maintenance & Installations:
    • LED lighting upgrades and replacements
    • Maintenance and installation of sockets, switches, and general electrical components
    • Fault finding and repair works
    • Carry out both single phase and three phase electrical works
    • Minor installation works where required
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Complete accurate service reports and maintenance documentation
    • Ensure all work is completed in line with current regulations and safety standards
    • Follow company and client service level agreements

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong electrical maintenance and PPM experience
  • Experience working with commercial or public sector environments desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Flexible and willing to travel nationally
