Hours: Monday–Friday, Days (7–4 or 6–3)

Salary: Up to £40,000 basic

We are recruiting a Soft Services Supervisor to support the delivery of soft services on a large, multi-building site in Filton. This role suits a Soft Services Supervisor with strong people-management skills who is comfortable overseeing multiple soft services workstreams in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Role overview

As a Soft Services Supervisor, you will support the Soft Services Manager in the day-to-day delivery of soft services across the site, working alongside another supervisor who manages cleaning services. You will supervise a team of up to 20 personnel, covering:

  • Waste management and waste compliance
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Mailroom services
  • Moves and changes
  • Other specialist soft services

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring services meet contractual standards, SLAs and KPIs
  • Driving compliance with health & safety, COSHH and safe systems of work
  • Managing waste audits and statutory requirements
  • Allocating and prioritising planned and reactive tasks
  • Updating CAFM systems accurately and on time
  • Supporting inductions, training and staff development
  • Monitoring performance and supporting appraisals
  • Managing consumables, equipment and stock levels
  • Deputising for the Soft Services Manager when required
  • Acting as a professional, client-facing presence on site

Candidate requirements

  • Experience working as a Soft Services Supervisor or in a similar role
  • Strong people-management and organisational skills
  • Experience overseeing waste services and compliance
  • Comfortable working on large, secure or process-driven sites
  • Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
