We're recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for experienced Shift Engineers to join a number of prestigious commercial and critical site contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for either a mechanically or electrically biased engineer looking to join a well-established business that offers career progression, varied work and excellent overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
  • Responding to reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • Maintaining a wide range of building services equipment including HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, chillers, boilers and electrical systems
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
  • Completing statutory compliance checks and accurate maintenance records
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Mechanical or Electrical bias with experience in building services maintenance
  • Experience working on commercial, healthcare, critical or industrial sites
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach with excellent communication skills
