We’re recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team based on a large, high-performing site in Northampton. This is a static, shift-based role offering excellent work-life balance and access to top-tier facilities and ongoing refurbishment projects.

Role Overview

  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks and help desk requests
  • Diagnose and repair faults across a range of electrical systems
  • Oversee and coordinate external contractors for specialist tasks
  • Ensure all systems remain compliant and operational through reporting and hands-on work

Key Requirements

  • Recognised Level 3 Electrical qualification (C&G 2230, 2330, 2356, 2357 or AM1/AM2)
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or building services
  • Technical understanding of:
  • Air/Water Source Heat Pumps
  • UPS systems, Generators, Power Distribution
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a shift team
