Job Title: Scoping Project Manager – RAF Croughton Location: RAF Croughton, Northamptonshire Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + Company Car/Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Construction / Facilities Management / Defence 🔧 Job Description We are currently seeking a Scoping Project Manager to be based at RAF Croughton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional to manage and deliver a wide range of Billable Works, including refurbishments, refits, new builds, demolitions, and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery process – from concept, design, pricing, and planning through to execution and final handover. All works must meet high standards for quality, compliance, and value, and be completed on time and within budget. 🛠 Key Responsibilities * Manage the full lifecycle of Billable Works projects across RAF Croughton. * Deliver works in line with statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations. * Scope and plan all aspects of construction, including refurbs, new builds, and maintenance. * Review and ensure quality of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). * Upload and manage all project documentation using systems such as Maximo and SharePoint. * Collaborate with stakeholders including the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), site managers, and local representatives. * Monitor costs and make value-for-money decisions throughout the project lifecycle. * Support sustainability efforts in line with MOD carbon reduction targets. * Assist in resolving issues or complaints during the course of project delivery. ✅ Requirements * HNC/HND or equivalent in Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. * Demonstrable experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion. * Strong planning, stakeholder engagement, and commercial decision-making skills. * Familiarity with digital project management platforms is beneficial. * Full UK driving licence required. * Must be eligible to obtain SC (Security Clearance). 💼 What’s on Offer * Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum. * Company car or car allowance. * 6% employer-matched pension contribution. * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. * Private medical insurance (single cover). * Life assurance at 2x base salary. * Long-term, stable role supporting high-impact projects in a secure environment. 📩 How to Apply If you’re a proactive and experienced Scoping Project Manager looking to take ownership of challenging and meaningful projects in a secure setting, apply today or call the office and ask for Fin
