Mobile Multiskilled Engineer Location: North London / Essex Salary: £43,000 – £44,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Job Type: Permanent Contract: Mobile We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join an established facilities management team, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across North London and Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Mobile Engineer / Electrical Engineer with a strong facilities management background who enjoys working across multiple sites. The Role Working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of approximately 30 sites, shared between two mobile engineers. You will primarily cover North London and Essex, with the wider engineering team providing coverage across South London. A company van and fuel card are provided, making this an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a mobile role and variety from day to day. There is currently no call-out requirement, although this may be introduced in the future. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple commercial sites * Complete reactive maintenance and fault finding * Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance within your skill set * Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests * Diagnose faults and ensure issues are resolved efficiently * Complete general building services and facilities maintenance * Maintain accurate service records and job sheets * Liaise with clients and site contacts * Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard * Travel between sites across North London and Essex About You The ideal candidate will have: * 18th Edition as a minimum * A strong Facilities Management / Building Services background * Experience working across commercial properties * Good electrical fault-finding skills * A flexible and professional approach * Strong communication and customer service skills * A full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits * Up to £44,000 basic salary * Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm * Company van * Fuel card * Mobile role covering North London & Essex * Approximately 30 sites across the wider portfolio * No current call-out * Potential future call-out requirement * Long-term career progression and development opportunities If you're an experienced Mobile Multiskilled Engineer with 18th Edition and a strong facilities management background, looking for a Monday-to-Friday mobile position across North London and Essex, we'd be keen to hear from you.
