Project Manager West Midlands – covering Midlands, Wales & East Anglia Permanent | Full-Time Up to £55,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Benefits We are currently recruiting for an experienced Billable Works Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple infrastructure and maintenance projects across the Midlands, Wales, and East Anglia. This is a mobile, field-based role requiring frequent travel across the region. You\’ll be managing the full lifecycle of building-related works—across civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines—from design and pricing through to delivery, handover, and post-completion documentation. Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager: * Deliver billable works in line with health & safety, environmental and quality standards * Engage and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget * Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) * Collaborate with site-based stakeholders to agree project scope and priorities * Use internal systems (e.g., Maximo, SharePoint) to manage project progress and documentation * Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally * Ensure project risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated appropriately * Support carbon reduction and value-for-money goals through sustainable project decisions Skills & Experience Required as a Project Manager: * HND or equivalent in Building, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering * SMSTS (or equivalent management-level health & safety qualification) * Proven experience managing suppliers/contractors in a project delivery environment * Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office (Maximo experience desirable) * Ability to work independently and make commercially sound decisions * Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills What’s On Offer: * Competitive salary * Company car or car allowance * 25 days annual leave * 6% employer-matched pension contribution * Private medical cover (single) * Life assurance (2x annual salary) This role would suit a technically proficient and commercially aware professional who thrives in a dynamic, regulated environment.
