Job Title: Project Manager β Defence Sector Location: High Wycombe Salary: Β£60,000 β Β£65,000 per annum + Car Allowance Holidays: 26 days plus bank holidays Clearance: SC (minimum) We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Defence Region team, delivering a variety of projects across the MOD Built Estate in the Southeast. This is an exciting opportunity to manage multiple projects with values ranging from Β£100k to Β£5 million, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design through to completion. Essential: Candidates must already hold High Level Security Clearance (SC or higher) or have recently lapsed clearance and must be UK Sole Nationals. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising workload effectively * Lead new building and listed building projects through the full construction cycle * Plan, manage, and coordinate projects in line with governance requirements * Report project progress, issues, risks, and opportunities to the Senior Project Manager and clients * Manage stakeholder relationships across clients, end users, designers, contractors, and military personnel * Oversee full lifecycle of projects, from scoping and design (RIBA phases) through procurement, construction, and closure * Work with the supply chain to develop projects from early phases through RIBA 7 * Present designs and project updates to clients and customers * Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to agreed standards Essential Qualifications & Skills: * Background in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering * CSCS Card holder * SMSTS qualification * Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH) * Active High Level Security Clearance (SC) or recently lapsed * UK Sole National with willingness to undergo further clearance if required * Strong understanding of RIBA phases and project governance * Excellent communication and organisational skills for managing multiple projects and stakeholders * Commercially aware with experience managing a supply chain * Can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider delivery team Benefits: * Competitive salary Β£60,000 β Β£65,000 per annum * Car allowance included * 26 days holiday plus bank holidays * Opportunity to work on high-profile MOD projects within a supportive team If you are an experienced Project Manager with security clearance looking to progress your career within the Defence sector, apply now to join a dynamic, high-performing team
