The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a busy site on an immediate temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, while also supporting a site relocation project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance.
  • Complete basic electrical work, including changing lighting and isolating/disconnecting distribution boards.
  • Undertake general building fabric repairs and handyman duties.
  • Support the site relocation, including move preparation.
  • Build power benches, install shelving and assist with site set-up.
  • Manage and liaise with contractors working on site.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond efficiently to maintenance issues to minimise downtime.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance or Building Services role.
  • A strong electrical bias with experience carrying out basic electrical maintenance.
  • Experience completing both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • A practical, hands-on approach with excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to support a variety of maintenance activities.

An IPAF licence is desirable for operating scissor lifts and carrying out high-level lighting work but is not essential.
