The Company

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded HVAC and mechanical services contractor based in South Wales. They hold long-term contracts with major public sector bodies β€” local authorities, universities, and national heritage organisations β€” and operate as a trusted sub-contractor to some of the largest FM and M&E groups in the region. This is a business built on technical quality and integrity, and that reputation starts with their engineers. Following a period of growth and restructure, they are now rebuilding their install capability and want to do it properly β€” with the right people.

The Role

You will be responsible for the installation of commercial air conditioning systems across a varied portfolio of sites throughout South Wales and the surrounding region. Day to day this will include:

  • Split and multi-split system installations
  • VRV / VRF system installations
  • Chiller and associated pipework (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ventilation installations (advantageous)

Sites include commercial offices, schools, leisure centres, healthcare facilities, local authority buildings, and heritage properties. The role is predominantly day-based, with accommodation provided for any travel in excess of two hours.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven commercial AC installation experience β€” splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF
  • F-Gas qualified (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience across commercial and public sector site types
  • Strong work ethic, excellent time management, and pride in the quality of your work
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload on site

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary negotiated based on experience and capability
  • Door to Door pay
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x β€” clocked from the moment you’re in the vehicle
  • Accommodation provided for any job requiring travel over two hours
  • Structured career development pathway
  • Stable, long-term contracts providing consistent and varied workflow
