A Tier 1 Facilities Management provider is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at Westgate Shopping Centre in Oxford, one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations. This is a static site role offering long-term stability, working within a professional team of 6 engineers responsible for maintaining critical building services systems across the centre.

Shift Pattern
Week A: Monday – Wednesday: 07:00 – 19:00, Thursday – Friday: Off, Saturday: 08:00 – 19:00, Sunday: 08:00 – 17:00
Week B: Monday – Wednesday: Off, Thursday – Friday: 07:00 – 19:00, Saturday – Sunday: Off
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance across building services systems
- Fault finding, repair and maintenance of electrical plant and equipment
- Support mechanical and general building services maintenance where required
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and job reports via CAFM systems
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain site performance and uptime
Workload split is typically 70% planned maintenance and 30% reactive work.
Requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within Facilities Management, commercial buildings or retail environments
- Electrical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and building services maintenance experience
- Knowledge of PPM schedules, reactive maintenance and compliance procedures.
