Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias Peterborough Up to £40,000 Brand New Large Static Site Monday to Friday, standard working hours but can be flexible! Job Overview- Working for the Largest Facilities Division in Europe! We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team at a large static site in Peterborough. This role is ideal for an electrically qualified professional with a mechanical understanding, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining and improving site facilities. Key Responsibilities as Multi Skilled Engineer- * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems. * Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and site safety protocols. * Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical installations, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems. * Carry out minor mechanical repairs and assist with general building maintenance when required. * Work collaboratively with the wider facilities and maintenance team to ensure site operations run smoothly. * Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any major issues to management. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Skills & Experience Required: * Electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365/2330 or equivalent). * Proven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role, ideally within a static site environment. * Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic mechanical tasks. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance. * Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
