Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: Field-based role covering Glasgow and surrounding areas.
Salary: Paying up to £45,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience).

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our growing engineering team as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. This role involves working on various Commercial contracts.

No two days are the same, as you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as performing inspections and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance work.
  2. Perform inspections, fault finding, and remedial repairs.
  3. Ensure compliance with wiring regulations and safety standards.
  4. Provide excellent customer service and keep clients informed of work progress.
  5. Maintain accurate records, including inspection logs and remedial work reports.
  6. Use IT systems to update job statuses and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

  1. City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  2. 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
  3. A valid UK driving licence.
  4. Experience in facilities management, mobile maintenance, or construction project work.
  5. Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently.
  6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Comfortable using IT systems to log work and updates.
