Mechanical Engineer – Plumbing Bias Location: Milton Keynes, MK19 Salary: Up to £45,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 Clearance: DV Clearance required / ability to obtain We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong plumbing bias to join an established engineering team based within a secure government environment in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically skilled engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position with no shift work, working as part of an established on-site team. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, with a particular focus on plumbing and associated building services. Key responsibilities include: * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Reactive maintenance and fault finding * Plumbing maintenance and repairs * Mechanical building services maintenance * Identifying and resolving faults * Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard * Working safely and in line with site procedures About You We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background and, ideally, a plumbing bias. You may come from a background such as: * Mechanical Engineer * Mechanical Maintenance Engineer * Plumbing Engineer * Plumber * Building Services Engineer * M&E Engineer Experience working within commercial, government, MOD or other secure environments would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the site, you must either already hold DV clearance or be eligible and able to successfully obtain it.
