Our client are a leading FM Service Provider worldwide who are now looking to recruit for a Technical Manager to work on healthcare contract
The Technical Manager will have overall responsibility and accountability for the day-to-day operational activity. The Technical Manager is responsible for all activities within the site and will oversee all services within the property whether directly delivered by the Operational team of 40 engineers or contractors.
A pragmatic yet commercial approach to issue resolution is required to ensure excellent customer service levels are always maintained with the Technical Manager recognising when an item is out with their ability to influence and engage with the appropriate party to ensure swift resolution.
Responsibilities

To monitor the day to day planned and reactive operational activity

To manage the service delivery Team across the site, ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner and work in accordance to the contract

To support the Account Director with the Operational Performance of the contract

To develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisation

To ensure site-based personnel manage the contract to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as they apply to technical and related services

To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients

To review the monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the portfolio director as necessary

To work with the on-site teams in planning, implementing and monitoring the standards of all works relating to the PPM schedule and reactive works

To establish, operate and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services

To ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across the stakeholder groups

Technical background essential – Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook

Experience of using a CAFM system

Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management

Good knowledge of building services and legislation
