We're recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for experienced Shift Engineers to join a number of prestigious commercial and critical site contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for either a mechanically or electrically biased engineer looking to join a well-established business that offers career progression, varied work and excellent overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Responding to reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Maintaining a wide range of building services equipment including HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, chillers, boilers and electrical systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
- Completing statutory compliance checks and accurate maintenance records
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Mechanical or Electrical bias with experience in building services maintenance
- Experience working on commercial, healthcare, critical or industrial sites
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A proactive approach with excellent communication skills
