Overview
We are seeking experienced Multiskilled Electrical Engineers to join a large on-site engineering team at a government building. This is an excellent opportunity for electrically biased engineers with strong building services experience to work within a critical and high-profile environment.
The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining the site’s electrical and mechanical infrastructure, ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building systems
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control panels
- Monitor, operate, and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, and temperature control systems
- Perform electrical testing, inspections, and minor installation works
- Support maintenance of pumps, motors, generators, and associated plant equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situations during night shifts
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
