Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable and flexible Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves providing a blend of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and general compliance tasks across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems and associated building services operate safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of electrical PPMs, including statutory and compliance checks.
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Complete general building PPM tasks, including L8 water hygiene checks and basic fabric maintenance.
- Undertake minor electrical installations, small works, and FCU (Fan Coil Unit) maintenance.
- Work across commercial office environments and airport control towers, maintaining high safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with site teams and stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Accurately record all works completed and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition).
- Experience in commercial maintenance environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota and undertake occasional travel.
