We're currently recruiting on behalf of our Facilities Management client for three Help Desk Coordinators to join their busy and growing team based in Leigh. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with Help Desk, Service Desk, Scheduling, Coordination or Administrative experience looking to join a well-established business with long-term career prospects. The positions are initially offered on an agency-to-permanent basis, with the intention of securing permanent employees following a successful period.

The Role

As a Help Desk Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of maintenance and facilities services across multiple client sites. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for coordinating works, liaising with contractors and ensuring all jobs are managed efficiently through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and updating maintenance jobs on internal systems
  • Monitoring job progress and closing completed works
  • Chasing contractors for service reports, paperwork and updates
  • Booking maintenance works and arranging site access
  • Supporting permit administration and compliance processes
  • Providing general help desk and coordination support
  • Maintaining accurate records using spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Liaising with clients, engineers and subcontractors to ensure service delivery targets are achieved

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a Help Desk, Service Desk, Scheduling, Planning or Coordinator position
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with contractors and clients
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Facilities Management or Maintenance industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Standard hours: 08:30am – 5:00pm
  • Rotating early shift starting at 07:00am
  • Rotating late cover until 5:30pm
