Our client, a growing building services contractor, is currently recruiting for a Small Works Supervisor to support the delivery of projects valued up to £100k. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Small Works Supervisor who enjoys managing smaller-scale projects while building strong relationships with site teams and clients.

The Small Works Supervisor will ideally be based around Leeds and will cover sites across the M1 corridor, travelling between Peterborough and Middlesbrough. This role requires someone with a proactive approach, strong reliability and the confidence to oversee site operations while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

The Role

As Small Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing small projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the required standard. The successful Small Works Supervisor will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to maintain smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site set-up and project mobilisation.
  • Day-to-day supervision of workforce and supply chain.
  • Managing small works projects up to £100k in value.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation.
  • Supporting project close-out processes and invoicing.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships across sites.
  • Ensuring works are delivered in line with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • SSSTS qualified (minimum).
  • Technical trade background such as Gas, Air Conditioning or Construction.
  • Willingness to travel across the M1 corridor from Peterborough through to Middlesbrough.
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance (British national preferred due to site restrictions).

Desirable Experience

  • Experience scoping and pricing small works jobs.
  • Previous project management or supervisory experience within building services.
