Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a better work-life balance? We're recruiting for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team, working at a single commercial office building near Haywards Heath. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a quieter environment, with no regular call-out and excellent long-term stability.
The Role
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Fire alarm and emergency lighting testing
- General plumbing repairs
- Monthly tap temperature testing (L8)
- Basic electrical maintenance
- Contractor supervision and sign-in
- Client liaison
- Maintaining site logbooks and compliance records
Experience with AHUs and FCUs would be beneficial, although specialist HVAC maintenance is subcontracted.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management
- Electrically qualified or electrically biased
- Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Good all-round building services knowledge
- Comfortable working independently on a single-site contract
- Strong customer service and communication skills
