We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician / Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contract. The role will be based from Norwich, supporting a portfolio of commercial office buildings and training facilities, offering a stable workload and long‑term opportunity.
This is a mobile maintenance role focused on delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs and general building services tasks. The position offers a good level of autonomy while remaining part of a supportive engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
- General building services maintenance within commercial environments
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with statutory compliance
- Covering additional sites as required for holiday or sickness cover
- Electrically qualified (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Experience within commercial building services / facilities maintenance
- Mobile maintenance experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional, reliable and customer‑focused approach
- Competitive salary up to £42,000
- Company vehicle provided on a car‑home contract
- Monday to Friday working hours
- £150 standby payment (rota to be confirmed)
