Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join a team of 25 engineers, working across a diverse commercial portfolio including hotels, dental practices, retail, and restaurant environments. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive approach to maintenance and strong all-round fabric skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric works
- Complete general building maintenance including basic carpentry, painting & decorating, and minor repairs
- Respond to reactive issues across multiple sites in a timely manner
- Support engineering teams with maintenance tasks as required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Maintain a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in a commercial fabric maintenance role
- Strong all-round knowledge of building fabric maintenance
- Experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills and client-facing experience
