Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £42,000 + Overtime + Bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (flexible working hours, based on completing 9 hours per day)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Technician to join a team of 25 engineers, working across a diverse commercial portfolio including hotels, dental practices, retail, and restaurant environments. This is a client-facing role requiring a proactive approach to maintenance and strong all-round fabric skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric works
  • Complete general building maintenance including basic carpentry, painting & decorating, and minor repairs
  • Respond to reactive issues across multiple sites in a timely manner
  • Support engineering teams with maintenance tasks as required
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a commercial fabric maintenance role
  • Strong all-round knowledge of building fabric maintenance
  • Experience delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and client-facing experience
