About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company, working on a prestigious site in Fulham. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable Monday to Friday schedule, excellent benefits, and clear pathways for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric and finishes
- Carry out a variety of tasks including basic carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, and minor plumbing
- Handle general repairs such as door fixes, ceiling tile replacements, and general handyman duties
- Ensure all work is compliant with health & safety standards and site-specific procedures
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of service
- Collaborate with other engineers and support the wider maintenance team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Fabric Engineer or Maintenance Technician role within commercial environments
- Solid skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
