We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical PV Installer / Renewable Energy Electrician to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing home energy businesses.

This is a permanent PAYE role working on domestic renewable energy installations, mainly Solar PV and Battery Storage, with some EV charger work where required.

You’ll be joining a business with a strong workload, excellent systems and long-term growth across solar, batteries, EV, heat pumps and domestic energy technology.

This role would suit a qualified electrician with experience in Solar PV, battery storage, EV charging or domestic electrical installation who wants consistent work, a strong package and the chance to develop further in renewables.

The Role You will be responsible for the electrical side of domestic renewable installations, including:

  • Installing and wiring Solar PV systems
  • Installing battery storage systems
  • Connecting inverters and associated electrical equipment
  • Completing safe cable routes and containment
  • Carrying out testing, inspection and certification
  • Supporting EV charger installations when required
  • Working alongside roofers / solar installers on domestic projects
  • Completing photos, paperwork and job updates through company systems
  • Delivering high-quality work in customer homes
  • Working to current electrical regulations and company installation standards The company has its own systems, design teams, logistics and technical support, so jobs are well organised with materials, scaffold and installation information planned in advance.

The Candidate We are looking for someone with: Electrical installation experience Solar PV experience Battery storage experience 18th Edition NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation AM2 / Gold Card preferred Inspection & Testing desirable EV charger experience desirable Domestic installation experience Full UK driving licence Good customer-facing skills Pride in workmanship and safe working standards Product training can be provided on specific systems, including battery and inverter products.
