We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fabric Engineer to join a leading facilities and property maintenance provider supporting a prestigious retail and commercial portfolio across London.
This is a mobile role combining a static site presence at a major shopping centre in Enfield two days per week, alongside foot-mobile maintenance coverage across Central London (Zones 1 & 2).
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality general building fabric maintenance across a range of commercial properties, ensuring sites remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
- Basic carpentry, painting & decorating, plumbing repairs and patch works
- General building repairs and upkeep
- Supporting wider building services maintenance where required
- Working across multiple commercial properties within Zones 1 & 2
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and service standards
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience within fabric engineering or property maintenance
- Good all-round knowledge of general building services
- Experience working within commercial environments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
