We are recruiting a Drainage Technician to join a well-established team on a prestigious static commercial contract in the Kensington High Street area. This role is ideal for a Drainage Technician with strong hands-on experience in commercial drainage systems, who enjoys being site-based, working closely with clients, and taking ownership of drainage performance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive drainage maintenance
- Drainage camera surveys on rainwater gullies, stacks and below-ground systems
- Diagnosing drainage issues and recommending corrective or improvement works
- Supporting drainage plans and maintaining asset information
- Supervising and coordinating specialist drainage subcontractors
- Completing high-quality reports, records and compliance documentation
- Providing a professional, customer-facing service on site
What we’re looking for:
- Recognised plumbing qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of commercial drainage systems
- Experience with inspections, surveys and fault finding (including cameraing)
- Legionella / L8 awareness or qualification
- Proven problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider engineering team
- Comfortable operating in high-standard commercial environments
