We are recruiting a Drainage Technician to join a well-established team on a prestigious static commercial contract in the Kensington High Street area. This role is ideal for a Drainage Technician with strong hands-on experience in commercial drainage systems, who enjoys being site-based, working closely with clients, and taking ownership of drainage performance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Planned and reactive drainage maintenance
  • Drainage camera surveys on rainwater gullies, stacks and below-ground systems
  • Diagnosing drainage issues and recommending corrective or improvement works
  • Supporting drainage plans and maintaining asset information
  • Supervising and coordinating specialist drainage subcontractors
  • Completing high-quality reports, records and compliance documentation
  • Providing a professional, customer-facing service on site

What we’re looking for:

  • Recognised plumbing qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial drainage systems
  • Experience with inspections, surveys and fault finding (including cameraing)
  • Legionella / L8 awareness or qualification
  • Proven problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider engineering team
  • Comfortable operating in high-standard commercial environments
