Contract Manager – Facilities Management (M&E Hard Services)

UK | Full Time | Multi-Site Contract

Our client, a well-established Facilities Management provider, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of a key multi-site FM contract, primarily focused on M&E hard services. This senior, client-facing role is responsible for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance, service delivery, and financial performance across the contract. You will be supported by an Assistant Contract Manager and Contract Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage delivery of reactive maintenance, PPM, and quoted works
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with SFG20 and contractual KPIs
  • Oversee service delivery, compliance, and financial performance
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage subcontractors
  • Submit quotations for remedial and additional works
  • Ensure statutory, regulatory, and HSQE compliance
  • Attend sites for audits, surveys, and client meetings as required
  • Identify efficiencies and improvements in service delivery
  • Lead, support, and develop engineering and contract teams
  • Conduct staff reviews and performance discussions

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing FM contracts within M&E hard services
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, PPM, and reactive maintenance
  • Good leadership, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Building Services or technical qualification
  • Health & Safety qualification (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, IOSH)

  • Salary up to £55,000 per annum
