Multi-Skilled Engineer - Static Site
Location: Tottenham Court Road, Central London
Salary: Β£50,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Overtime: Available
Contract: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a newly refurbished commercial office building in the Tottenham Court Road area.
The building has undergone a major refurbishment with new plant and equipment and is currently going through mobilisation.
This is a static, single-engineer site, with additional support from mobile engineers approximately 2-3 days per week.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance
- Complete PPMs across mechanical and electrical systems
- Plant room checks and maintenance
- Work with chillers, boilers and associated building services equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Identify faults and coordinate repairs where required
- Support the mobilisation of the newly refurbished site
- Liaise with contractors and the wider engineering team
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Provide a professional and client-facing service
There is no engineer call-out requirement, as out-of-hours call-outs are covered by subcontractors.
Requirements
- Qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering
- Strong multi-skilled building services experience
- Previous commercial maintenance experience
- Experience with plant rooms, boilers, chillers and general M&E systems
- Able to work independently
- Good communication and client-facing skills
