Technical Services Team Manager (M&E / Healthcare PFI)\\n\\n* Location: Birmingham Treatment Centre & Stafford Care Homes\\n* Hours: Full time β 40 hours per week\\n* Contract: Permanent\\n* Salary: Β£58,000+ per annum + Company Car\\n* Call-out: Optional\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAn established facilities management provider is seeking a Technical Services Team Manager to lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary team of 6 engineers across a Healthcare PFI portfolio.\\n\\nBased primarily at a large acute healthcare site in Birmingham, with support to care home facilities in Stafford, this role will oversee the delivery of Mechanical & Electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance and lifecycle works, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient service delivery.\\n\\nThis is a senior, hands-on management role offering autonomy, long-term stability and progression within a critical healthcare environment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Line management and supervision of a 6-person engineering team and specialist subcontractors\\n\\n * Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, statutory requirements and contract KPIs\\n\\n * Deliver PPM, reactive and remedial maintenance to agreed response times and standards\\n\\n * Liaise with client and clinical stakeholders to prioritise works and minimise service disruption\\n\\n * Provide technical leadership, mentoring and performance management to engineers\\n\\n * Issue and manage Permits to Work and safe systems of work\\n\\n * Oversee reporting, documentation and compliance submissions\\n\\n * Support budgeting, costing and procurement of materials and services\\n\\n * Act as Authorised Person, ensuring Responsible and Competent Persons are appointed and trained\\n\\n * Support lifecycle and small works projects in collaboration with the Lifecycle Manager\\n\\nEssential Experience & Qualifications\\n\\n * Background within Healthcare, PFI or critical environments\\n\\n * NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering\\n\\n * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\\n\\n * Previous Authorised Person / Responsible Person / Competent Person (M&E) experience\\n\\n * Strong technical knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance and fault finding\\n\\n * NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (or willingness to work towards)\\n\\n * Full UK Driving Licence\\n\\n * Water Responsible Person status (or willingness to work towards)\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\n * FM project delivery experience\\n\\n * Asset management and condition reporting exposure\\n\\n * Working at Heights / AP qualifications\\n\\nWhatβs on Offer\\n\\n * Β£58,000+ salary + Company Car\\n\\n * Optional call-out (not mandatory)\\n\\n * Stable, long-term contract within Healthcare PFI\\n\\n * Ongoing training and Authorised Person development\\n\\n * Clear progression within a growing FM operation
