A well-established mechanical heating services company operating across the West Midlands is currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their service and maintenance team. This position involves working on commercial boilers, heating systems and gas equipment across a range of commercial sites including schools, care homes, restaurants, factories and commercial premises. The role offers stable long-term work, a strong client base and opportunities for further manufacturer training and development.

Commercial Gas Engineer Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and repair of commercial gas boilers
  • Fault finding on commercial heating systems
  • Commissioning manufacturer boiler equipment
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
  • Working within plant rooms and commercial heating systems
  • Completing service reports and job documentation
  • Maintaining high safety and compliance standards

Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years commercial gas engineering experience
  • Experience servicing commercial boilers and heating systems
  • Valid commercial gas qualifications
  • Knowledge of heating controls (desirable but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
