Mobile position based around Blackburn, Lancashire, and Barrow-in-Furness covering Telephone Exchanges, Retail Stores & Commercial Offices. Salary up to £42,000 + Van, Fuel Card & Excellent Benefits. Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (Flexible).

A leading Global Facilities Management provider is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of high-profile sites including telephone exchange centres, retail outlets, and modern commercial offices.

You will be responsible for ensuring critical environments stay operational by delivering top-quality planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across client sites.
  • Responding to reactive callouts including fault diagnosis, servicing, and breakdown repairs on VRV, VRF, and split systems.
  • Completing water temperature checks and tap flushing in line with compliance standards.
  • Managing your own daily schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and reporting.
  • Representing the company professionally while delivering high standards of work.

  • Flexible working hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
  • On-call rota 1 in 6 – £165 standby + paid overtime.

What You’ll Need:
  • F-Gas certification (essential).
  • Experience working on VRV, VRF, and split-type AC systems.
  • Solid background in reactive maintenance and fault finding.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence.
