Air Conditioning Engineer covering the North of England
Up to £42.5k (basic + door-to-door travel)
Flexible working hours
Typically 45-50 hours per week
Call-out rota: 1 in 11 weeks with call-out allowance
Role Responsibilities
As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will:
- Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across education, public sector, retail, industrial, and commercial sites
- Work on systems including VRV/VRF, splits, CRAC, AHUs, close control units, chillers, and packaged systems
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, part replacements, remedials, warranty work, PPMs, and reactive call-outs
- Work predominantly on Mitsubishi and Daikin equipment
What You\’ll Bring
- NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (Level 3 advantageous)
- F-Gas Category 1 qualification (or 10+ years of equivalent experience)
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills
- A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to perform under pressure
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with pride in workmanship
- The ability to represent the business confidently as an Air Conditioning Engineer
