We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider on a static site in Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrical professional looking to step into or continue in a supervisory role within a stable maintenance contract environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of engineers delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standards
- Act as the main point of contact for the client on-site
- Support with scheduling, planning, and allocation of maintenance tasks
- Carry out hands-on electrical maintenance when required
- Oversee compliance tasks including PPM schedules, testing, and inspections
- Ensure all documentation and reporting is completed accurately and on time
- Assist with audits and ensure KPI/SLA targets are met
Requirements:
- Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS7671) essential
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role
- Strong knowledge of commercial building maintenance systems
- Experience working within FM / maintenance contracts
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Package:
- Salary up to £48,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Static site - no travel required
- Monday to Friday role (typically 40 hours per week)
- Overtime opportunities available
