An established and growing engineering business is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects while contributing to a fast-paced and expanding operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites.
- Take ownership of installation projects from start to completion.
- Carry out maintenance and servicing of client systems as required.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, including installation layouts, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call rota (1 in 4 weeks).
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial and industrial AC systems.
- Experience in refrigeration systems (chiller experience desirable).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- Strong customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and performance.

- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements
- F-Gas qualification.
- Valid UK driving licence.

- Knowledge of a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Own hand tools.
- Ability to pass and obtain DBS clearance.
