M&E Engineer – Liverpool Street
Location: Liverpool Street, EC1
Salary: £46,000–£48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm / 8am–5pm
Call-out: 1 in 4 – £100 standby per week

Are you an experienced M&E Engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role in a prestigious commercial environment?
We’re currently recruiting for an M&E Engineer with a slight electrical bias to join an established facilities team working on a high-profile financial services site in Liverpool Street.
You’ll be joining a team of around 4–5 engineers, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the tenant side of the building.
The Role
As an M&E Engineer, your duties will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis
- General mechanical maintenance
- Lighting and emergency lighting
- HVAC and building services
- Pumps, motors, AHUs and FCUs
- Basic plumbing and general M&E duties
- Responding to breakdowns and defects
- Completing maintenance records and relevant paperwork
- Working closely with the engineering team and client
About You
We’re looking for an experienced M&E Engineer with a slight electrical bias and a strong commercial facilities background.
Ideally, you will have:
- Relevant Level 3 engineering qualification
- 18th Edition electrical qualification
- Previous commercial FM / building services experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- A professional and reliable approach
