Leading a new division focusing on Senior Appointments across Facilities Management
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a UK leader in sustainable water management. For over 30 years, they’ve delivered efficient, effective solutions that improve client resilience, reduce risk, and drive environmental and financial value.
With a long-standing blue‑chip client base and recent investment supporting our growth plans, they are seeking a Business Development professional to join them in a pivotal time for the business.
About the Role
- Winning new clients
- Growing revenue within existing accounts
They’re looking for an experienced sales professional to further their reach in target markets and promote integrated approaches to sustainable water management. The successful candidate will introduce services to prospective clients and support Account Directors in developing upsell opportunities.
You will work closely with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts across water, sustainability, commercial strategy, and business transformation. With ambitious growth plans and ongoing investment, this is a key opportunity to shape the organisation’s future. As the business expands, there will be strong prospects for career and role development.
Professional Background & Experience
- A strong track record in consultative B2B sales, ideally including subscription models
- Experience in utilities, procurement, or sectors such as manufacturing, retail, infrastructure, leisure, healthcare, higher education, or hospitality
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with prospects and support for Account Directors in closing opportunities
Skills & Attributes
- Ability to work across sales, marketing, sustainability, and commercial teams
- Strong communication skills and credibility with senior stakeholders
- Confidence in managing revenue targets and pipeline development
- Strong networking ability and willingness to represent the organisation at industry events
- Ability to diagnose client needs and craft tailored proposals
- Genuine interest in water sustainability and high professional integrity
Location
UK‑based with hybrid working. Candidate expected to travel to West Sussex monthly.
