Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong M&E background seeking a new challenge?

We are excited to be exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing M&E Business that has seen the business growth excel over recent years. They are looking to appoint an experienced BDM/Senior New Business Manager to help them continue to grow and convert the huge amount of work in the pipeline.

Company Overview:

They are growing small building services with two divisions: installation and maintenance and has been established for circa 5 years.

They specialise in delivering innovative and reliable mechanical solutions, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and building management solutions. With the core of their client base being in the Home Counties and London, they are known for their premium service, exceptional quality, and commitment to excellence in the commercial sector.

Role Overview:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector, ideally looking to target the end user market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage the full sales cycle, including:
  • Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes.
  • Following up on leads and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Directors to ensure smooth project handovers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets to drive growth in the Installation Division.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipelines, and outcomes.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales in the mechanical or building services sectors.
  • Mechanical contractual knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical installation services and commercial projects, including H&S requirements.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously, with a focus on closing deals.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively while driving results independently.
