Are you a commercially driven sales professional with deep experience in the Chiller or HVAC sector? We’re looking for an ambitious and technically minded Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving business growth, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding our presence within the UK Chiller HVAC market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with key clients across the UK.
  • Combining commercial expertise with technical understanding to deliver tailored HVAC solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Driving new business growth within the Chiller HVAC market.
  • Building long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, end users, architects, and quantity surveyors.
  • Delivering engaging technical and commercial presentations.
  • Managing projects from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and handover.
  • Working closely with internal technical, finance, manufacturing, and marketing teams.
  • Reviewing tenders, specifications, and drawings to develop competitive proposals.
  • Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Producing sales forecasts and supporting strategic business plans.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Building Services, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Chiller/HVAC sector.
  • Strong technical understanding of Chiller systems and HVAC applications.
  • Proven success in business development and account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts.
