We are looking for an experienced Combustion Service Engineer to provide engineering support across the west side of London and home counties, delivering high-quality, compliant services and maintenance for commercial gas systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planned Maintenance & Technical Service: Carry out preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial gas equipment.
- Emergency Call-Outs & Rota Participation: Be part of the duty rota, responding to emergency call-outs and ensuring that reactive issues are addressed within 4 hours.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete and submit daily/weekly reports, timesheets, and other required documentation for administrative purposes.
- Customer Focus & Quality Compliance: Provide excellent customer service while ensuring that all work complies with safety regulations and meets high standards.

- Full UK clean driving license
- Clear Enhanced DBS Certification
- Domestic Gas Safety: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1, CONGLP1
- Commercial Heating & Pipework: COCN1, CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, BMP1
- Commercial Catering Equipment: CCCN1, CODC1, COCAT1, COMCAT1, COMCAT3, COMCAT5
- Water Systems: UHW
- Desirable Qualifications: PASMA, MEWP, OFTEC, CCLNG1 - Core commercial laundry & CLE1 - Commercial laundry equipment
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in the commercial gas service industry as a mobile service engineer
- Gas Safety Installation and Use Regulations 1998
- Relevant standards & procedures used in the gas industry.
- Gas Industry Unsafe Procedures.
- Good fault diagnosis on commercial gas appliances.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Able to work independently or within a team
- Excellent customer service skills.
