  • Job Summary

We are looking for a UK-based Sales Development Representative with experience or strong knowledge of the tax and/or accounting industry.

You will be responsible for outbound prospecting and generating qualified sales opportunities for a Saa S/software and data-driven solution supporting tax and accounting professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct approximately 50 targeted outbound calls per day.
  • Prospect and engage decision-makers within US-based tax and accounting firms.
  • Generate approximately 10 qualified outbound opportunities per month.
  • Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers and business needs.
  • Communicate the value of Saa S, software, data, and professional information solutions.
  • Build credibility with prospects through a strong understanding of the tax and accounting environment.
  • Qualify prospects and identify genuine sales opportunities for the wider sales team.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Follow established outbound processes, messaging, and sales methodologies.
  • Test and refine messaging based on prospect feedback and market response.
  • Consistently achieve agreed activity and opportunity-generation targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to improve outbound performance.
  • UK-based and able to work consistently with US business hours/time zones
  • Relevant tax and/or accounting experience or knowledge
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, SDR, or outbound sales
  • Experience selling or prospecting for Saa S, software, data, professional information, or technology solutions
  • Experience engaging business decision-makers through outbound activity
  • Comfortable making approximately 50 outbound calls per day
  • Proven ability to generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Experience selling into, working within, or engaging with the tax and accounting sector
  • Comfortable using a CRM, preferable Salesforce
  • Able to work within established sales processes and methodologies
  • Strong commercial communication and qualification skills
  • A coachable, affable, curious, and determined approach

  • Experience selling technology or Saa S solutions specifically to tax, accounting, CPA, bookkeeping, or related professional firms
  • Experience selling data, professional information, or subscription-based software
  • Experience selling into the US market

  • Previous experience working within a highly structured or outsourced SDR environment

Compensation & Incentives

  • Competitive contractor compensation.

£200 incentive when target is achieved.
