Field Service Engineer required for a leading specialist in battery energy storage systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company during a time of expansion. The company is committed to ongoing development of their staff and can provide internal and external training.

The successful candidate will be either electrically biased or multi-skilled and will hold a relevant engineering qualification. This role would suit candidates with previous experience working in a field related to energy; however, candidates from any industry background are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will typically work within an approximate radius of two hours of Manchester, carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to energy storage systems at grid connection sites.

  • Maintenance of battery energy storage systems
  • Inspections, annual capacity tests, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Software and firmware upgrades
  • Provide remote diagnostics and support
  • Management of spare parts
  • Typically working within a 2-hour radius of Manchester; however, further travel and occasional stay away may be required
